Position Overview
As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, driving profitability, maintaining service and food quality standards, and developing a strong, successful team.
This is a hands-on leadership role — we’re looking for someone who leads by example and is willing to jump in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and supervise multiple departments
- Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
- Manage staff performance, scheduling, and team development
- Oversee inventory, stock, labor, and sales management
- Monitor and manage food costs (COGS) and labor percentages
- Maintain restaurant profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure staff compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, including pizza and kitchen items as needed
- Follow and uphold Zazzo’s Pizza operating procedures and standards
- Provide daily operational reporting and performance data to management
- Most importantly: Develop and build a great team
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of carry-out/ restaurant management or supervisory experience in food service, retail, or customer service
- Experience with Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities
- Food Service Manager Certification preferred
- BASSET Certification preferred
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze data and understand business metrics
- Basic business math and accounting knowledge
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong integrity, communication, and leadership presence
