We are looking for a Software Engineer to help support and develop front-end and back-end applications. The Software Engineer will leverage mapping expertise and best practices to improve product quality. As Yotta enables more customers to utilize contextual data, you will help lead Yotta with mapping expertise.
Qualifications
5+ years experience with mapping software development
Demonstrate knowledge of mapping, including map tile generation, georeferencing, and datums
Demonstrate knowledge of GPS and mapping libraries and tools such as WhirlWind, GRASS, QGIS, ArcGIS
Strong Javascript and Java development skills
Work experience with Javascript
Experience with Angular, React, React Native, Vue, Redux, Node
Experience with Python
Experience with software development via distributed development teams
Background in Earth Sciences preferred
Written and verbal communication skills in English
Proven record of getting things done
