Award winning residential Design/Build Remodeling firm operating in Howard and surrounding counties is seeking a full-time carpenter assistant.
Experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn and excel at given tasks is much more important.
Dependable transportation, valid drivers license and a clean driving record required.
Job Responsibilities:
· To assist carpenters or others as needed on construction sites doing various tasks related to construction such as carpentry, sheetrock, insulation, masonry, roofing, siding, plumbing, electric and other trades .
· Be flexible in the fact that various skills will be needed and a learning attitude is a must.
· Know and understand tasks of carpenter/helper.
· When necessary to purchase material and deliver to job site.
· Be responsible to clean up job site and dispose of job waste when necessary.
· Keeping track of all paperwork involved with job functions.
· Keep trucks and shop orderly and clean.
· Help carpenters keep track of supplies and inform them when supplies get low.
Dependable transportation to and from various job sites during the day required.

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
