Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team at a 38-bed assisted living facility. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading engaging recreational and wellness activities that enhance residents’ quality of life.
The Activity Coordinator will create a positive, stimulating environment that promotes residents’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being through meaningful programs and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a monthly activity calendar with a variety of engaging programs
- Plan and facilitate both group and one-on-one activities for residents
- Assess residents’ interests, abilities, and needs to design personalized and meaningful activities
- Encourage and support resident participation in activity programs
- Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community involvement opportunities
- Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and stay within budget guidelines
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff
- Collaborate with other departments to support resident engagement and well-being
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current CPR certification required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate seniors with varying abilities
- Previous experience in senior living, recreation, or healthcare preferred
Work Environment

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
