Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Service Technician

$28 - $40 an hour, based on experience, plus quarterly profit share
Full-time, Monday to Friday, rotating on-call
Who we are
Everyone calls Wall, since 1978. We serve over 250 commercial accounts across Montgomery County and the greater Philadelphia area: restaurants, country clubs, retirement homes, schools, markets, florists, and retail. Built on word of mouth. Zero advertising. Small crew, under new ownership, growing. We need another tech who can run their own truck.
What you'll do
Run service calls independently at commercial accounts: refrigeration, heating, cooling, and ventilation. Walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, exhaust fans. You'll talk directly with customers, order your own parts, and document your work in our field service software. You'll never be left on an island. Backup is a phone call away.
What we're looking for
- EPA Universal certification required
- 2+ years commercial refrigeration experience plus working knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation
- Valid driver's license, insurable record
- Takes care with customers, paperwork, and service notes
- Allergic to "I don't know." When something's over your head, you dig until it isn't. The manual, the schematic, a phone call, whatever it takes
- Not a salesman, but the guy who can tell an owner "this will be a problem, we should fix it now" and be right. Same judgment the other way: when a repair stops making sense, say so

Benefits
No health insurance or 401(k) yet. Both are planned by the end of the year as we grow. The hourly rate and profit share reflect that, and we're upfront about it.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30. Rotating on-call, time and a half.
