Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Local/Regional CDL A Intermodal Owner Operator Truck Drivers to support intermodal operations in the Houston market!

Duties:
- Pick up and deliver intermodal containers from Houston rail terminals, ports, and customer facilities
- Perform chassis shuttles and repositioning as required
- Handle marine containers (import and export freight)
- Ensure secure, accurate, and timely freight movement
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor, chassis, and container
- Maintain compliance with DOT, terminal, and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal personnel
- Adhere to appointment times and service commitments
Job Requirements:
- Must be a qualified Owner-Operator with own tractor
- Valid State-issued Class A CDL
- Minimum of 2 years recent verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer driving experience, including Port and Rail Work
- Any license suspension exceeding six (6) months resets experience requirements
- Verifiable driving record covering the past three (3) years
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to company standards
- TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
- UIIA registration (or ability to enroll)
- Hazmat preferred
Insurance & Safety Compliance Requirements
Drivers must meet insurance eligibility standards.
Any of the following within the past five (5) years is disqualifying:
Unacceptable Violations
- Driving while intoxicated (DUI/DWI) or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Speeding 25 MPH or more over the posted speed limit
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Homicide, manslaughter, or assault involving a motor vehicle
- Reckless driving (regardless of point assignment)
- Driving with a suspended or revoked license
- Other major motor vehicle violations
SR-22 filings are not accepted. Equipment Requirements
- Roadworthy tractor meeting all DOT standards
- Ability to operate with terminal-provided or supplied chassis
- Current Annual Inspection
Wage Range: 2500.00 - 3500.00 per week
