Emerald Island is growing—and we’re looking for driven, outdoor-loving individuals to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians (Service Leaders). Work outdoors and see real results every day

Work individually or with a crew to provide services to all properties on assigned route

Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, fungicides, herbicides, and aeration and seeding for pest and week control in lawns

Diagnose lawn issues and recommend solutions
-
Build relationships with customers and identify service needs
-
Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers

Keep properties clean, safe, and looking their best

Maintain accurate service records and equipment

Assist with training new service leaders

Must be 18 years of age or older
-
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean record with 1+ years of driving experience
-
Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Must obtain applicable state Department of Agriculture certification within 30 days of hire
-
Be able to drive long distances or an eight to nine-hour shift in company vehicle (truck/trailer) ranging between 6:30am- 5:30pm (or until the job is finished)

Operate company vehicle in compliance with federal, state, local laws, and company policy

Follow proper safety protocols while working with equipment

Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, lifting, carrying, and moving objects up to 50 pounds

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
