An automotive supplier in Toledo, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join their maintenance team. In this role, you will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.
Position would be a direct hire with a starting pay of $30-$35/hr depending on skill level and experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Install and maintain high- and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Perform light fabrication, equipment modifications, and general facility maintenance.
- Read work orders, prioritize assignments, and complete repairs efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with production and IT teams to support equipment performance.
- Work overtime as needed to support production and emergency maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley/RSLogix preferred).
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with conduit installation, wiring practices, sensors, and control devices.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
