We are seeking a reliable and motivated 2nd Shift Assistant Manager to join our convenience store team in Fletcher, NC. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily store operations during the second shift, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and supporting the store manager in achieving business goals.
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily store operations during the 2nd shift.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Supervise and support store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and merchandising standards.
- Handle inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Support loss prevention efforts and maintain a secure store environment.
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or supervisory role in a convenience store or retail environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift hours reliably.
- Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
