Landscape Sales Specialist
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 5+ years experience in landscape sales including design/build sales
- Proven track record of selling potential clients on services
- Knowledge of horticulture and landscape design and construction
- Basic knowledge of materials and labor costs
- Proficient technology and software skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, spoken and written, internally and externally
- Valid Driver’s License with clear Motor Vehicle Report.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting client and prospect visits in order to sell company services
- Promoting the design/build, maintenance, enhancement, and snow programs offered by the company
- Maintaining strong relationships with current and former clients for enhancement opportunities
- Compiling information gathered from meetings
- Conveying client’s needs and goals to Designer based on scope of project
- Coordinating with Designer & client for design/build projects
- Preparing final proposal encompassing all details
- Discussing proposal with client
- Closing the sale
- Identifying and developing new client relationships
- Attending networking events to develop new business
- Developing strategic partner relationships to create an ongoing pipeline of referrals
