Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Polisher to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for polishing, grinding, deburring, buffing, and finishing metal components to meet quality and production standards.
Ideal candidates will have experience working in a manufacturing, machine shop, or production environment and be comfortable using grinders, polishing tools, measuring instruments, and hand tools. Experience working with steel, carbide, or metal parts is preferred.
Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain polishing, grinding, buffing, and deburring equipment

Remove excess material, burrs, and surface imperfections from metal parts

Polish and finish workpieces according to customer and production specifications

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as gauges and micrometers

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions

Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed for quality and efficiency

Lift, position, and secure workpieces using clamps, hoists, or fixtures

Monitor machine operations and identify production issues or defects

Select and install tooling and polishing equipment based on production requirements

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Qualifications

Previous polishing, grinding, deburring, or manufacturing experience preferred

Experience working with metal, steel, or carbide materials is a plus

Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments

Basic blueprint reading skills preferred
2nd Shift Available
Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
