American Traveler is hiring an RN Clinical Supervisor for a busy ER on night shift, requiring at least 1 year of ER supervisory experience and 2 years of ER nursing experience.

Emergency Department setting treating all patient types including urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
-
Night shift schedule with 3x 12-hour shifts per week

Uses Cerner EMR
-
Performs critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes

Active DC RN license required, no pending licenses accepted

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required (AHA only)

Minimum 1 year of ER Supervisor experience required

Minimum 2 years of ER experience required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

BSN highly desired

Cerner EMR experience required

Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure high standards of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility
