About Pandasaurus Games
Pandasaurus Games is an independent board game publisher known for a curated catalog of approachable, high-quality tabletop experiences from international import hits to original titles developed in-house. We publish approximately 10 titles per year and distribute internationally. We are a small, high-output team that cares deeply about great games, strong retail relationships, and sustainable growth.
The Role
We are looking for a driven, relationship-oriented sales professional to own and grow Pandasaurus’s revenue across three channels: wholesale distribution, direct retail, and international licensing.. You will be the primary commercial point of contact for our trade partners and foreign-language licensees.
Key Responsibilities
Wholesale Distribution
- Manage day-to-day order flow and sell-in campaigns with English language distributors
- Drive initial orders and reorder velocity for new title launches; execute pre-launch sell-in strategy in coordination with marketing
- Monitor distributor inventory levels and proactively manage replenishment cycles to prevent stockouts
- Negotiate promotional programs, endcap placement, and catalog positioning with distributor sales reps
Direct Retail Portal
- Grow and manage Pandasaurus’s direct retailer channel, including hobby game stores, toy stores, and specialty retailers
- Onboard new retail accounts, manage the retailer portal, and ensure a best-in-class buying experience
International Licensing
- Sell print run allocations to foreign-language partners and international publishers
- Build and maintain relationships with international publishers across the globe; attend relevant trade events (e.g., Essen Spiel, New York Toy Fair, Nuremberg Toy Fair, GenCon , GAMA, etc)
- Negotiate licensing terms in coordination with ownership
Forecasting & Reporting
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and monthly sell-through reporting across all channels
- Contribute to demand planning and print run sizing decisions with data-driven sell-through signals
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on channel performance, account health, and market trends
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across distribution and direct retail channels; flag reorder triggers and coordinate with operations on stock allocation and replenishment timing
Qualifications
Required
- 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in hobby games, toys, publishing, or consumer products
- Proven track record of managing distributor relationships and hitting volume targets
- Familiarity with the hobby games retail landscape (FLGS ecosystem, major distributors)
- Excellent communicator and negotiator; comfortable owning commercial relationships independently
- 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot CRM experience; demonstrated ability to manage contacts, deals, pipelines, and reporting within HubSpot
- Proficiency loading, managing, and reconciling sales data in internal databases or reporting systems
- Valid passport required; this role includes domestic and international travel (trade shows, distributor visits, partner meetings)
- Familiarity with product or interest in learning about board games - no need to be an expert gamer but a willingness and curiosity to understand the product is critical.
Preferred
- Experience selling to or working with international publishers or licensees
- Direct-to-retail sales experience (managing portal/B2B e-commerce accounts)
- Comfort working with sell-through data, reorder signals, and basic sales forecasting
- HubSpot Academy certification strongly preferred; ideal candidates hold HubSpot CRM and Inbound Marketing certifications
- Experience with international trade events (e.g., Spiel Essen, GAMA Expo, Origins) and comfort operating across time zones and cultures
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: 70,000-90,000 depending on experience
- Commission plan with on-target earnings (OTE) of 60-80K
- Domestic and international travel required (trade shows, distributor visits, international partner meetings); valid passport required
Pay: $70,634.59 - $85,065.31 per year
