Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll management software, ensuring timely payments for all employees.
- Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Reconcile payroll accounts through detailed analysis of general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation procedures.
- Prepare journal entries related to payroll, benefits, taxes.
- Perform data entry tasks with precision for employee records, and timekeeping data .
- Collaborate with the human resources team to handle onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration processes effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in payroll management within a corporate or nonprofit environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software.
- Familiarity with accounting software is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts including general ledger accounting, journal entries, debits & credits, and account reconciliation.
- Experience handling benefits administration accounting is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed data entry with high accuracy (10 key typing skills).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
