Job Overview
We are seeking entry to mid-Level AutoCAD Design Technician to be responsible for providing organized, consistent and effective drawings throughout the platting process, and efficiently and effectively balance hands-on technical software skills with ability to interpret red lines, manage file revisions, organize, and collaborate with planner and engineering team.
Duties
- Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other design software to support platting design projects
- Create accurate schematic layouts, easement exhibits and plat drawings aligned with project requirements and industry standards
- Research maps, site plans, surveys, recorded documents and ordinances
- Collaborate with planner and engineers, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with codes
- Prepare routine correspondence (letters, memos and meeting notes) and review outgoing materials for conformance with the Company's standard operating procedures, practices and formats.
- Incorporate feedback from project teams to revise drawings efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with MicroStation, SolidWorks, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam is highly desirable
- Strong drafting skills with an eye for detail in creating accurate schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to interpret architectural site plans, engineered drawings and land surveys effectively
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and techniques for visual communication purposes
- Experience working with CAD software for engineering or survey design
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams
- Professional, highly self-motivated and directed.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
