- Manage one or multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Develop project proposals, including scopes of work and fee estimates, and support business development initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Conduct site visits, coordinate with field teams, and oversee project deliverables.
- Monitor and track project scope, schedules, and budgets, providing regular updates to internal leadership.
- Lead the engineering team and interface with other disciplines as needed to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Supervise junior engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Utilize civil design software (Civil 3D preferred) to support project design and documentation.
- Maintain accurate project records in accounting and project management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil site development and infrastructure design, including water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Proven experience producing residential or mixed-use development plans and collaborating with residential clients is strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills, including experience developing and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software; working knowledge of other design and modeling tools a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical information clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated business development abilities and leadership qualities.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, local regulations, and construction practices.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and project accounting practices.
- Ability to travel locally as needed to support project and client needs.
