ROLE
Performs a variety of patient coordination, scheduling, financial, and administrative responsibilities that support both the clinical and business operations of the practice. Serves as a trusted resource for patients by coordinating treatment, discussing financial arrangements, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a seamless patient experience from the initial inquiry through treatment completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Communication & Consult Scheduling
- Contact warm leads who have expressed interest in dental implant treatment and guide them through scheduling a complimentary consultation.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from patients, staff, doctors, and referring offices.
- Build rapport with prospective patients while identifying their needs and helping overcome barriers to scheduling.
- Answer the telephone using a warm, friendly voice while accurately assessing and meeting the needs of each caller.
- Accurately complete telephone messages, voicemail transfers, and chart documentation.
- Schedule doctor appointments according to office guidelines to ensure smooth patient flow and production goals are met.
- Consistently prepare for the next day through appointment confirmations, schedule accuracy, and chart preparation.
- Monitor and follow up on no-shows, cancellations, and patients with outstanding treatment needs.
Treatment Coordination & Patient Financing
- Assist with treatment planning by reviewing and discussing recommended treatment with patients.
- Present financial arrangements and available payment options to help patients move forward with treatment.
- Contact patients daily regarding proposed treatment plans for assigned doctors.
- Provide exceptional patient education while helping patients understand their treatment options and next steps.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain patient records and charts to ensure complete documentation and easy retrieval of information.
- Follow office procedures for patient referrals and record transfers.
- Complete daily administrative responsibilities and any duties assigned by your direct supervisor.
- Effectively manage time and workspace to accomplish individual and practice objectives.
Team Collaboration
- Promote team cohesiveness by interacting with doctors, staff, and patients with courtesy, respect, active listening, and professionalism.
- Cheerfully assist other departments and perform backup duties as needed.
- Participate fully in morning huddles, staff meetings, continuing education, and performance evaluations.
- Support a positive, patient centered culture throughout the practice.
Problem Solving & Patient Experience
- Consistently recognize the needs of patients, doctors, staff, and business partners while treating everyone with respect and professionalism.
- Use conflict resolution and creative problem solving skills to manage patient concerns, scheduling challenges, and financial obstacles.

- Help create an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion.

- Dental experience is preferred. Implant or specialty practice experience is a plus.
COMPENSATION
Hourly Base Pay: $25-31/hour + Un-Capped Performance-Based Incentive Bonus
