Fiesta Winery is looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Host/Hostess to create an exceptional first impression for every guest who visits our tasting room. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive and provide a welcoming winery experience.
- Explain our wine tasting options, experiences, and current offerings to guests.
- Seat and place guests at the tasting bar while helping maintain an organized guest flow.
- Answer basic questions about the winery and direct guests to the appropriate team members when needed.
- Assist in managing wait times and communicating with guests during busy periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting entrance and host area.
- Work closely with the tasting room staff to ensure outstanding customer service.
- Thank guests for visiting and invite them to return.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience in customer service
- 1+ years' experience in wine industry hospitality a plus
REQUIREMENTS
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and/or keyboard. Required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This job requires the use of the computer and phone.
