Escalate or resolve systemic service failures.
- Freight Auditing: Oversee the freight audit and billing compliance function; establish audit procedures, authorize dispute filings, and administer claims resolution programs for billing errors, service failures, and customer chargebacks related to freight. Audit broker invoices against contracted terms and assessed duties on the same basis as carrier invoices.
- Data, KPI & Compliance: Establish, administer, and report logistics performance metrics to senior leadership including on-time delivery, freight margin, cost per shipment/order, and customer shipping quote turnaround compliance. Govern regulatory compliance standards and maintain authority over freight-classification determinations (NMFC) and oversight of the HTS classification process.
