American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring active NH or Compact RN license and 2-3 years of ICU experience.

Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
-
12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, weekdays with every other weekend
-
Floating required to ED, Stepdown, and Med Surg with modified assignment
-
No on-call requirements

Uses specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, ICP monitoring, arctic sun or TTM management, Alaris pumps, and rapid infusers
-
Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration

2-3 years of ICU experience required, with stronger candidates preferred if closer to 2 years

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
-
Preferred certifications: TNCC, PALS, and CCRN
-
Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
-
Ability to work independently and quickly across a variety of care needs
-
Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients using advanced life support equipment
-
Weekly orientation provided

Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate

Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
