Job Summary
West Bay Collegiate Academy is seeking motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Coach to join the basketball staff for the upcoming season. This role will support the development of our players help mentor student-athletes both on and off the court.
We are looking for coaches who are passionate about teaching the game, detail-oriented, and committed to player development. With the assistant coach role you also have the ability to become a head coach of the team in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with game planning
- Support position coaching and player development
- Help break down film and scout opponents
- Assist during practices (drills, instruction, and organization)
- Mentor student-athletes academically and athletically
Schedule:
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching or playing experience preferred (high school, college, or training level)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to teach fundamentals and scheme concepts
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Compensation:
- Based on experience (discussed during interview)
Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
