1. Quote and purchase parts, services, operating supplies, and safety products for Wrightsville Foundry, Wrightsville Machine Shop and Mount Joy Foundry maintenance departments.
2. Purchase and maintain perishable tooling for the WV Machine Shop.
3. Monitor open purchase orders in the PO system and follow up with suppliers to ensure material and parts are delivered on time.
4. Coordinate with Accounting and other staff to troubleshoot and resolve any purchasing or receiving issues.
5. Receiving and inspect incoming supplies and parts for the Wrightsville Foundry and Wrightsville Machine Shop; Resolve any problems with vendors.
6. Perform various data entry tasks such as enter purchase order receivers in ERP system, generate part numbers and update vendor information and pricing.
7. Maintain the CMS for both foundries which include data entry tasks, updating work tasks and procedures and generating additional task lists as requested.
8. Arrange for the return of incorrect or damaged purchased product.
9. Coordinate repairs from outside resources for parts equipment when necessary and provide status reports to the Maintenance Manager of incoming parts for scheduled repairs and projects.
10. Oversee the vended managed accounts to include ensuring supplies are stocked and available, coordinate the addition of new items and removal of obsolete products, resolve any product or equipment issues with vendor, and maintain a professional relationship with the supplier.
11. Maintain accurate work instructions for the activities related to this position and review routinely to identify opportunities to improve processes.
12. Assist the Maintenance Coordinator as requested.
13. Adheres to 6s and safety procedures.
14. Other duties as assigned.
1. A high school diploma or GED is required;
2. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing work environment.
3. Proficient data entry skills.
4. Demonstrates solid Computer skills with a variety of office, manufacturing and maintenance software programs.
5. Read, understand and interpret work orders.
6. Strong time management skills, detail oriented and highly dependable.
7. Ability to mult-task and problem solve.
8. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills; Able to work independently or as a team.
9. Reads and understands English.
10. Able to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs routinely; Up to 75lbs occasionally.
11. Able to travel to all Donsco locations
12. Able to work over-time as required by production.
