The Truck/Trailer Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of trucks, trailers and equipment. Depending on skillset this may be two positions that focuses on either trucks or trailers.
The Truck Mechanic is responsible for maintaining semi tractors, pickup trucks, forklifts, loaders, telehandlers, and other equipment as needed.
- Perform annual inspections
- Performs preventative maintenance
- Diagnoses and repairs run ability and drivability mechanical issues
- Orders parts
- Performs service calls and after hours calls as needed
- Maintains maintenance records
- Performs heavy duty maintenance including rear ends, transmissions, etc.
- Promote Sourdough’s Vision, Mission, and Culture statements
- Other duties as assigned
