What You’ll Do

Stock, rotate, and replenish fresh produce displays
-
Inspect fruits and vegetables for freshness and product quality
-
Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing produce displays
-
Assist customers with produce selection and product recommendations
-
Monitor proper storage, temperature control, and product rotation
-
Handle and prepare produce using safe food handling procedures

Support inventory management and product replenishment

Set up promotional displays and seasonal produce features
-
Operate department equipment and tools safely

Support front-end operations and other store needs when necessary

Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
What We’re Looking For

Previous produce, grocery, retail, or food service experience preferred but not required

Basic knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and produce handling techniques preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Attention to detail and organizational abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic math and reading skills

Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
Work Environment

Fast-paced grocery store produce department
-
Exposure to coolers, misting systems, damp produce, and refrigerated areas

Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
