Job Summary
We are seeking a Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services to our fury pups. If you have experience in dog grooming, we want to hear from you.
Duties
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and pet coat maintenance to meet client specifications.
- Handle animals safely and gently during grooming procedures, using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss grooming preferences, provide advice on pet coat care, and address any special needs or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized regularly.
Skills
- Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming.
- Strong dog handling skills with the ability to work confidently with animals of various temperaments.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners professionally and empathetically.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger pets or equipment safely.
