The Supported Living Client Instructor is directly responsible to the Supported Living Coordinator and will work with the house/apartment managers in implementing individual programs of the clients in the Supported Living Program.
II SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Helps plan and participate in outings and planned activities with the clients and house/apartment manager.
B. Assists clients in making shopping list and shopping as needed.
C. Works individually with clients to improve cooking, housekeeping, menu planning, laundry and personal hygiene skills.
D. Works with clients on individual objectives.
E. Documents all activities with clients as they occur.
F. Attends all in-service required by HCCC.
G. Other tasks as requested by Supported Living Coordinator.
III KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
General knowledge of developmentally disabled adults and skills in working with people. Skills in budgeting, cooking, crafts and social behavior.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
