Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and other machinery to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct repairs on complex mechanical systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment to various job sites as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for accountability and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in construction or renovation projects when required.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Hands-on knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively in diverse environments.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including preventive maintenance scheduling and inventory management.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and safety compliance are highly valued.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
