WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
An experienced Maintenance Person for an office complex in North Tampa. This person will maintain building interiors, exteriors and common areas. You should meet the below requirements to be considered for the position
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot problems, purchase supplies and take action to resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to work order requests
- Perform preventive maintenance program
- Account for, maintain, clean and store tools/supplies
REQUIREMENTS:·
- Experience with: light duty plumbing, electrical (i.e. change ballast, lighting control systems, indoor/outdoor lights), painting, carpentry, pressure washing, locksmith, alarm system, HVAC certified (i.e. replace capacitors, condensate pumps, gases and air filters), irrigation (i.e. repair broken lines, sprinkler heads and operate an irrigation system).
- Possess a positive, can-do attitude, be professional in appearance and a good communicator.
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Applicant must have proven ability to properly diagnose and complete required maintenance/repair work
- Must be able to lift heavy items approximately 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic Microsoft office computer skills
- Valid state driver’s licenses
Minimum Required Qualifications (do not apply if you do not meet these minimum qualifications)
- EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED required. (Vocational or college credentials a plus)
- EXPERIENCE – 5+ years experience in building maintenance with a proven track record of working independently required.
- COMMUNICATION – Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- ORGANIZATION – Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete assignments in a timely manner required.
- SCHEDULE – Dedication to arriving on agreed start time.
- WEATHER - Must be able to work outdoors (approximately 25% to 30%) of the time and perform work under variable weather conditions.
- SCREENING – Criminal background and substance check required.
Work Hours:
· Position allows some schedule flexibility
· Position will require limited evening/weekend work for “on-call” duty. On-call is two weeks on and one month off. Must remain in Tampa Bay area to respond to emergency calls when "on-call"

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
