Apple Creek Health and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the Director of Nursing position. Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Nursing has the authority, responsibility and accountability for the functions, activities and training of the nursing staff. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management of resident care 24 hours a day. Candidate needs to be able to multitask with good communication skills. Candidate must have good team management skills. Must have a current RN license with preferred management experience. Responsibilities of Director of Nursing include:
- Direct Supervision of RNs, LPNs and Aides
- Supervision of Administrative Nurses
- Daily review of Pharmacy Recommendations
- Daily review of Incidents and Accidents
- Supervision of Coordination of Care
- Electronic Report Monitoring
- Staffing Report Reviews
- Leads Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement
- Utilizes PointClickCare for electronic medical records
- Significant experience in Nursing Facilities is required for this position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $98,000.00 per year
