Job Summary
Bovaconti Coffee is hiring an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead daily coffee bar operations and ensure exceptional beverage quality and customer service. The Head Barista will supervise baristas, provide training, maintain coffee standards, and support café management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Lead and supervise baristas during daily operations
- Train new employees on coffee preparation and customer service standards
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory and order coffee beans, milk, syrups, and café supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee stations
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Support management with scheduling and operational tasks
- Promote a positive and welcoming café atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous barista experience required; leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of espresso machines, brewing methods, and coffee preparation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment
- Customer-focused and team-oriented attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
