Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our team and provide expert maintenance and repair services across a variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets. Responsibilities
- Conduct complex repairs involving transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, wheel alignments, HVAC systems, and diesel engines.
- Fabricate parts or modifications using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to meet specific operational needs.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of machinery components while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide on-site service for equipment repair and maintenance at various locations; ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and service history to support ongoing maintenance programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on heavy equipment or industrial machinery; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across multiple systems including hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and tire service.
- Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and other maintenance apparatus.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Certifications related to diesel engine repair, brake systems, or industrial equipment maintenance are advantageous.
