Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certified in Education or working towards certification
- Previous Experience a plus
- Must agree to and sign our Statement of Faith
Job Description:
- Teacher will provide classroom instruction in one of the following Grades: PreK-6th grade.
- Be proficient in computer skills, using various forms of technology in order to post grades, communicate with parents, and aid in instruction.
- Must also have a willingness and ability to assist in total school program and extra curricular activities.
- Maintain clear, open, and professional communication with parents, colleagues and administration.
- To work with administration to keep parents adequately informed of student discipline.
- Integrate Biblical principles and perspectives throughout all curricula, striving to be an example of these same principles to students, families and staff.
- Maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste and in agreement with school policy.
- Must have proficiency in teaching strategies and methods. Must be willing to learn new teaching strategies and methods.
- Must be able to work extended hours on occasion.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is based on education and experience. This is a full-time position which carries the expectation of a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Benefits include 10 paid sick days per year (accumulates to maximum of 30 days). Other benefits such as personal days, vacation, and tuition assistance for children at the Academy, are negotiable during the hiring process.
