Position Summary
Afficionado Coffee Roasters is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee inventory, fulfillment, shipping, logistics, and purchasing operations.
This is a working manager position. The successful candidate will spend significant time on the warehouse floor leading daily operations, supporting the team, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and solving problems in real time. This is not a desk-only management role.
We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable with technology, and willing to roll up their sleeves to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments and manage carrier relationships
- Oversee fulfillment through Shopify, Amazon Seller Central/FBA, ShipStation, and other sales channels
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and replenishment planning
- Perform and oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation
- Troubleshoot fulfillment, shipping, inventory, and operational issues
- Maintain accurate inventory and order flow across all systems
- Work closely with production, sales, customer service, and leadership teams
- Develop and improve warehouse processes and operational efficiencies
- Train, support, and hold team members accountable to operational standards
- Assist with physical warehouse activities as needed, including receiving, shipping, inventory counts, and organization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, or inventory management experience
- Experience coordinating freight shipments and working with carriers
- Working knowledge of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central/FBA, and ShipStation
- Strong inventory management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a team while remaining actively involved in daily operations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Experience
- Food, beverage, coffee, manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods experience
- Purchasing or procurement experience
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
- Experience improving warehouse processes and efficiencies
Important
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Morganville, NJ. Candidates should be comfortable spending the majority of their day in a warehouse environment and actively participating in day-to-day operations.
Pay: $54,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
