LWD JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Finance Coordinator Type: Permanent-Full Time or Permanent-Part Time
Department: Administrative Pay Type: Hourly
Supervisors: General Manager Hours of Availability: 5-8 hours per day, 4-5 days per week (will set a permanent schedule based on applicant availability) Expected Weekly Hours: 20-40 (will set a permanent schedule based on applicant availability)
Supervisor For: None
Job Purpose: Monitor and manage Lisbon Water Department’s finances. Utilize the provided software and other tools to keep accurate records. Utilize this information to provide financial statements, aid in providing direction for budgets, help reduce costs and handle financial decisions. As available, assist with processing payments and handling basic service inquiries.
Position Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent and experience in an equivalent position.
· Must have and maintain a valid Maine driver’s license free from violations.
· Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift 15 lbs daily
· Must be able to alternate between sitting and standing during a normal workday
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
· Manage the Accounts Payable process (warrant)
· Complete the quarterly water billing.
· Update the General Ledger (Northern Data Systems) and Quickbooks Invoicing
· Reconcile the bank accounts
· Month end, year end and new year processes
· The following reports
o Monthly high/low usage
o Yearly MPUC Collections
o Monthly overdue non-residential balances
· Assist with annual budget process, answering the phone, processing payments, record retention, setting up payment arrangements, help with disconnect process and anything else that needs to be completed when the Office Assistant is out.
Must Have Skills:
· Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Excellent customer service skills including oral and written communication.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Experience:
