DENTALEZ is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Bay Minette, AL.
If you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and at least 3 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment, this is a career you need to explore!

Job responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and continuously improve QMS procedures, including CAPA, Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR), and document control.
- CAPA Management: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of quality investigations. This includes monitoring metrics, driving Root Cause Analysis (RCA), tracking action items, and ensuring technical documentation is audit-ready.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate nonconformances and customer complaints using data-driven methodologies (Six Sigma, 5-Whys, Fishbone) to implement effective, unbiased solutions.
- Risk Management: Lead risk analysis activities, including Design FMEA (dFMEA), Process FMEA (pFMEA), and risk-benefit analysis in accordance with ISO 14971.
- Supplier Quality: Support supplier selection and qualification; conduct supplier audits and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
- Regulatory Compliance: Act as a key stakeholder during internal and external audits conducted by the FDA, ISO, and Notified Bodies.
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop statistical methods for real-time shop floor inspections.
- Optimize gage calibration and recall processes.
- Drive the reduction of scrap and rework through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Design and implement quality-related fixturing and provide training for new processes.
