Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and MI RN licensure.

Details

Work on the 11 East unit of a hospital setting
Oncology patient population with chemotherapy administration responsibilities
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
13-week assignment length

Requirements

Active MI RN license required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
Oncology experience preferred
ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course completion or OCN certification required to administer vesicant chemotherapy
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date

Additional Information

Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy after completing unit-based oncology course and unit orientation
Patients actively receiving vesicant chemotherapy infusions will only be assigned to staff who have completed the ONS course or hold OCN certification
Local candidates residing in MI are eligible for local rates
