Responsibilities
- Install various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet, according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Perform cabinet installation as needed, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Execute restoration tasks, including caulking and construction painting, to enhance the overall appearance of the installed flooring.
- Lay tiles with precision, ensuring proper spacing and alignment for aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields within the restoration industry is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
- Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in tile laying, caulking, and general construction painting tasks.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
