Maze Roofing is a fast-moving, quality-driven roofing company that takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience on every job. We run a tight production system built on ownership, speed, and communication — and we're looking for a Production Supervisor who thrives in that environment.
About the Role
As a Production Supervisor, you own your jobs from pre-build through final walkthrough. You're the bridge between our crews, our office, and our homeowners — making sure every project is ready to build, runs smoothly on site, is fully documented, and finishes to our quality standard. If you own the stage, you own the outcome.
What You'll Do
- Review upcoming schedules weekly and daily, and make sure every job is truly ready — crews, materials, and deliveries confirmed before the work day
- Be on site for tear-off days; manage the crew's start, ensure property protection is in place, and keep work moving
- Communicate proactively with homeowners — set expectations, walk them through the timeline, and make sure they never have to chase an update
- Document every job thoroughly in our system (before/after photos, progress, change orders, dry-in, etc.) — "if it's not documented, it didn't happen"
- Submit accurate midday and end-of-day production counts
- Identify and communicate change orders and any unexpected conditions (e.g., rotten wood) quickly and transparently
- Oversee install day quality, complete the final walkthrough, and confirm the job is clean, complete, and inspection-ready
- Escalate manpower, material, or workmanship issues early through the proper channels
- Hit your performance standards: on-site presence, on-time counts, job readiness, and homeowner communication
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in roofing, construction, or a skilled-trades field (roofing production or supervision strongly preferred)
- Strong leadership and the ability to manage crews and hold a high standard
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with documentation and mobile/job-management software (JobNimbus experience a plus)
- Self-driven with a sense of urgency — you move work forward and solve problems without being told
- Valid driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule: [Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed]
