Delta King Hotel is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. We are looking for a passionate, dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and takes pride in preparing exceptional food for our guests.
The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent cooking skills, and experience in an upscale or fine dining environment.
Position Requirements
Applicants must have:
- 4–5 years of recent experience in a high-volume upscale and/or fine dining restaurant.
- Must have banquet experience.
- Strong experience working sauté and grill stations.
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
- A stable work history with professional references.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and Delta King quality standards.
- Prepare food in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and presentation.
- Execute special menu items and guest requests as directed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures.
- Communicate menu items and ingredients with servers and management when needed.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of upscale or fine dining culinary experience required.
- Excellent sauté and grilling skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong guest service mindset.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and continuous learning.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
