Licensed Public Adjuster – Property Claims (Georgia)
Foundry Claims Group LLC is expanding its Georgia team and is seeking three experienced, licensed Public Adjusters who are ready for a change. This is a field-based, independent contractor opportunity representing policyholders with denied, underpaid, delayed, or complex residential and commercial property claims.
IMPORTANT LICENSE DISTINCTION
An active Georgia Public Adjuster license is required. A carrier/staff adjuster, independent adjuster, all-lines adjuster, or standard property and casualty adjuster license is not the same as a Public Adjuster license and does not qualify by itself. Public Adjusters represent policyholders—not insurance carriers. Please apply only if you currently hold an active Georgia Public Adjuster license that can be verified.
Responsibilities
- Represent policyholders professionally throughout the property-claim process.
- Inspect and document residential and commercial property losses.
- Review policies, carrier estimates, reports, photographs, and claim correspondence.
- Prepare accurate scopes and estimates; Xactimate experience is preferred.
- Communicate with policyholders, insurance carriers, contractors, engineers, and other claim professionals.
- Maintain organized claim files, timely follow-up, and clear client communication.
- Develop new business through compliant professional relationships and personal business-development efforts.
- Follow Georgia law, licensing rules, ethical requirements, and Foundry Claims Group procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia Public Adjuster license.
- Demonstrated property-claim adjusting experience.
- Strong written communication, negotiation, documentation, and client-service skills.
- Ability to manage claims independently and meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within an assigned Georgia territory.
- Ability to safely perform field inspections appropriate to the assignment.
Preferred Experience
- Residential or commercial roofing claims.
- Water, fire, smoke, storm, or large-loss claims.
- Safely accessing and inspecting roofs.
- Established professional relationships within the roofing, restoration, mitigation, or contracting community.
- Prior business-development experience.
Compensation and Classification
This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only position. The starting commission is 40% of Foundry Claims Group's professional fee actually collected on assigned claims. A higher commission percentage may be negotiated based on verified experience, demonstrated knowledge, responsibilities, performance, and business-development capabilities. There is no guaranteed salary, hourly wage, draw, or employee benefits. Commission terms and claim responsibilities will be confirmed in writing.
