About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Restaurant Manager serves as the primary operational leader for all food and beverage service operations. This position is responsible for floor operations, guest services, and day-to-day management of dining room, bar, and service staff across all outlets, including Esencia restaurant, the Lobby bar and lounge, El Rincon sports bar, the Owner's lounge, pool services, and banquet operations.
What You'll Do
Floor Operations & Service Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of all dining and bar outlets, ensuring consistent execution of service standards and guest satisfaction
- Lead and mentor all service staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support team members
- Standardize SOPs to guarantee consistent execution of service, beverage presentation, and guest interaction across all venues
- Set performance goals and service excellence standards for the service team
- Conduct regular floor rounds, monitor service execution, and provide real-time coaching and feedback
- Manage table assignments, seating flow, and pacing to optimize member satisfaction and operational efficiency
Member Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure exceptional member experiences through direct involvement in service standards and guest interaction
- Address member concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, with authority to resolve service issues
- Monitor service execution through observation, secret shopping, member feedback, and team coaching
- Implement luxury dining touches such as personalized service, premium beverage pairings, and special member requests
- Ensure compliance with Forbes Five-Star quality expectations, member satisfaction benchmarks, and brand standards
Staff Management & Training
- Recruit, train, and retain highly skilled service professionals, emphasizing luxury service etiquette and product knowledge
- Conduct ongoing training programs in guest engagement, service excellence, health and safety, and compliance with food laws
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts and outlets
- Perform performance evaluations and provide coaching to develop team members
- Promote a service culture of anticipatory member care, precision, and discretion
Beverage Program Management
- Support the management of premium wine, spirits, and cocktail programs in collaboration with leadership
- Conduct beverage training sessions for staff to ensure product knowledge and upselling proficiency
- Assist with beverage inventory management and cost control
Event & Special Operations
- Coordinate and oversee catering and special events operations
- Ensure seamless coordination between the service team and kitchen for events and special occasions
- Review event orders, staffing plans, and execution details
- Ensure flawless event execution, often personally attending high-profile or VIP events
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Monitor and manage F&B operational costs, including labor scheduling and supply expenses
- Track and report on service metrics, member counts, and operational KPIs
- Assist in revenue management by supporting upselling initiatives and beverage program promotion
- Maintain accurate records of service issues, guest feedback, and operational improvements
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Maintain relationships with premium suppliers and service vendors
- Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED with 2 or more years of experience in restaurant operations, food and beverage management, or a related professional area, or some college or a 1-year degree from an accredited university in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related major with 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership experience in a luxury restaurant environment, demonstrating mastery of refined service, operational excellence, and elevated guest experiences
- Luxury restaurant management experience of 2 or more years is required

This is a full-time, salaried position. Day and night shift availability required. Work location is in person at the property.
