We’re searching for an experienced Community Manager to oversee a well-established affordable housing property in Manitowoc, WI. What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of day-to-day property operations, financials, and team leadership
- Ensure strict compliance with LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8, and Fair Housing requirements—no shortcuts
- Build authentic relationships with residents, staff, and vendors
- Partner with maintenance to keep the property safe, welcoming, and in top shape
- Support and drive resident engagement and retention efforts
Who We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of property management experience (must-have)
- Direct experience with LIHTC and/or Project-Based Section 8 (required)
- A steady hand: organized, decisive, and detail-obsessed
- Clear, confident communicator who sets the tone for your team
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with property management systems
- Industry certifications are a plus, but not required
