Up to $140,000 Base Salary + Benefits
A Design & Applications Engineer is required to support the development, application and troubleshooting of highly engineered severe-service valve solutions for a manufacturer in Houston, TX.
This position will play a critical role in material selection, application review, product troubleshooting and engineering support for complex customer applications.

Key Responsibilities - Design & Applications Engineer
- Review customer specifications and process conditions
- Perform application engineering and valve selection activities
- Recommend materials and configurations for severe-service applications
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of valve performance issues
- Investigate product failures and identify corrective actions
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales and customers
- Assist with design improvements and product development initiatives
- Support engineering documentation, calculations and technical reports
Ideal Profile - Design & Applications Engineer
- Strong background in severe-service valve technology
- Would suit a Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Applications Engineer
- Strong understanding of materials, sealing technologies and valve performance
- Experience supporting manufacturing, design and troubleshooting activities
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Must be based in Houston, TX
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
