Prepare and teach 1 section of REAL 4120 – Cases in Commercial Real Estate, 3 credits
Course description -
Focuses on the applied analysis of commercial real estate. Emphasizes the analysis of real estate for purchase, development or financing across the major real estate investment sub-areas (apartments, office, retail and warehouse/distribution). The objective is to take conceptual real estate knowledge and apply it to Harvard Business School and Milwaukee Area cases. Knowledge from the many required finance, marketing, real estate, accounting and other business and economics courses is used to analyze the cases.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
