Title: In Store Sales Representative (Merchandiser)
Reports to: VP of In Store Sales Team Dept.: ISST
Job Summary: Responsible for merchandising and selling product to grocery retailers in assigned areas by acquiring the best product position for authorized items. Provide merchandising support, product training and inventory rotation, as applicable. Develop a positive, professional relationship with store personnel based on trust, integrity and commitment.
Essential Functions:
- Create & maintain a positive, professional relationship with vendors and customers based on trust, integrity, and commitment.
- Learn products and the Brands authorized for all stores; merchandise product in the best position possible to generate the greatest sales volume
- Sell Willis represented brands at store level
- Review inventory at store-level; rotate and stock appropriately
- Train Store personnel on Willis Brands and Products
- Work with Competitors and always maintain professional behavior
- Audit all items as required
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly audits
- Resets and grand opening
- Provide week recaps to VP of In Store Sales Team
- Report any issues or concerns regarding authorized items to VP
- Attend In Store Sales Team Meeting every other Monday in Office or Microsoft Teams
- Complete additional duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Grocery Retail Merchandising Experience desired
- Deli or Bakery Retail experience
- Strong communication skills, able to multi-task and works well in pressure situations
- Professional demeanor and driven to perform
- Self-motivated and well organized.
- Able to work in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Health Card
- Valid driver’s license, car and vehicle insurance
- Able to work with traffic; spend hours driving
- Knowledge of geographical location assigned
- Able to lift 30-50 pounds and stand for 6 hours
- Bending and lifting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
