We are looking for a strong Staff Accountant to join the team.
This is not just a data-entry role. We are looking for someone who can think through problems, take ownership of client work, and help support growing businesses with accurate, meaningful financial information.
The right person will be highly skilled in QuickBooks Online and comfortable working with multiple clients, deadlines, and moving pieces. Bonus points if you also have experience with Xero and Wave.
What we are looking for:
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience is required
- Public accounting or client accounting experience required
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned work without constant direction
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research, investigate, and resolve issues
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with multiple clients and understand that each business may have different needs
- Comfortable with reconciliations, transaction review, cleanup work, financial statements, and month-end close
- Strong communication skills and the ability to ask thoughtful questions when needed
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a growing team
