Duties
- Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and safe lifting practices
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure dishes meet quality standards before delivery
- Buss tables by clearing used dishes, glasses, and utensils efficiently to maintain a clean dining space
- Support the kitchen team with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment when needed
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using effective verbal skills to coordinate timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, ensuring all food handling areas are sanitized and organized according to health regulations
- Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with food handling and safety protocols is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting techniques
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and serve guests professionally
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently
- Knowledge of food preparation, banquet service, or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent multitasking skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding guest services in an energetic hospitality setting
