POSITION SUMMARY:
Quality Technician - Pretreatment Focus is responsible for inspecting and testing chemical compositions, equipment performance and various aspects of Pretreatment and Coatings processes to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards. Additionally, the Quality Technician - Pretreatment Focus is primarily responsible for the proper functioning and maintenance of the Company’s waste-water treatment operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
Perform routine testing to ensure quality and adherence to processes, specifications and standards
- Visually inspect products to ensure aesthetic consistency
- Calibrate and maintain all gauges and test machines
- Operate, maintain and consistently test the Company’s waste-water treatment operations
- Input data and results of testing and examinations in Company quality logs
- Input data regarding production, quality and first-run processing
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Very active position requiring standing, walking, balancing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, hearing, and repetitive motions all day
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and especially color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus as well as the visual acuity to closely and accurately inspect and distinguish minor differences in colors, textures, gloss, etc.
- Frequently required to sit, utilizes hands and finger dexterity
- Continually required to talk or hear
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
This position is designed to be performed by a man due to the conditions and the physical demands involved.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
