Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Outdoor Mosquito Control Technician and play a vital role in creating safe, comfortable outdoor environments for our clients. In this energetic and hands-on position, you will be responsible for implementing mosquito control solutions across various outdoor settings, utilizing specialized pest control techniques and equipment. Your efforts will help reduce mosquito populations, prevent disease transmission, and enhance outdoor enjoyment for communities and property owners alike. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of outdoor areas to identify mosquito breeding sites and areas of high mosquito activity
- Apply environmentally safe pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to target mosquito habitats effectively
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as sprayers, foggers, and other pest control devices with precision and safety
- Utilize landscaping, lawn care, farming, and land management techniques to eliminate standing water and other mosquito breeding grounds
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, safety precautions, and follow-up procedures
- Document all service activities accurately in reports and logs for compliance and quality assurance purposes
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with pest control, lawn care is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools & power tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driving company vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of pest control techniques and safety protocols is a plus
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Willingness to learn new skills related to mosquito control technology and environmental safety standards

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
