Lead a Growing Home Health Agency
Advanced Home Healthcare is a Medicare-certified, Joint Commission-accredited home health agency serving the Tampa Bay area. We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Director of Nursing (RN) who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Because a significant portion of our patients speak only Spanish, fluency in both English and Spanish is required. The Director of Nursing must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff in both languages.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all home health services.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, AHCA regulations, Joint Commission standards, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Supervise and mentor nurses, therapists, social workers, and home health aides.
- Review admissions, recertifications, transfers, and discharges.
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of OASIS documentation.
- Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Administrator to achieve quality and operational goals.
- Participate in regulatory surveys and accreditation activities.
- Ensure staff competency, education, and ongoing professional development.
- Foster a positive, patient-centered culture focused on excellence.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, OASIS, and home health operations.
- Experience with Axxess Home Care is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with physicians, referral sources, patients, and staff.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
